I'm a woman in my mid-30s. I am a daughter, a deeply loyal friend, a half in love's wholeness...I am more than the sum of my parts - but it is in these parts that the richness and complexity of life exists. I have a doctorate in diversity studies. In this realm, I'm an administrator of a university. I enjoy my work, but my eventual dream is to say goodbye to politics of higher education (as early my retirement as is possible) in order to enjoy a simpler life. I envision owning very green and fertile land in which an organic farm would be possible - the good life. I'm from the south, then lived 10 year on the beautiful beaches of the Gulf Coast in Florida, and now I call the desert of Nevada home-sweet-home. I adore gardening, but the rocks don't seem to want to bloom in the spring in Nevada! So, I'm learning to grow the six plants (exaggeration, but not much of one) that will survive the desert heat. There are beautiful hikes here, though...and my partner and I re-connect by exploring the trails nearby. I also play golf, know a little about classical guitar, enjoy tennis (but can't find a tennis partner who is crazy enough to play in this heat), and recently, I've embarked on a serious healthy lifestyle and life balance way of thinking and living. I'm interested in a many things and am the sort of person who "digs in" to find out as much as I can about my surroundings and interests in life. I enjoy deep laughter and believe in leaving events of life at the zenith - so as to preserve the perfection.
